3DXMURDERS is a companion tool for murder mystery games run privately by hosts. Using the site means accepting the following.

What this is

A place to hold the case file for a game happening elsewhere — documents, evidence, suspect profiles and the sealed folders players unlock as they investigate. It is entertainment, run for small private groups, and provided as-is.

Everything here is fiction

Every case, character, organisation, document, location and event on this site is invented. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental and unintended. Nothing published here is a factual account or an accusation against anyone.

For players

• Use a nickname rather than personal details — the site does not need them.
• Don't put anything in your notes you wouldn't want your host to read, since they can see them.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, or bypass the site's puzzles by technical means. It spoils the game and it isn't clever.

For hosts

Hosts are responsible for the cases they build. By publishing a case you confirm that:

• The content is your own work, or you have the right to use it.
• It is clearly fictional and does not depict, accuse, or identify a real person as having committed a crime.
• It does not contain sexual content involving minors, real-world instructions for causing harm, harassment of real individuals, or anything unlawful.
• You are responsible for the players you invite and the sessions you run.

Accounts and cases that breach this may be suspended or removed without notice. Judgement on that sits with the site administrator.

Availability

The site is run as a personal project. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, change, or stop entirely. Keep your own copy of any case content you would be sorry to lose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including lost case content, interrupted sessions, or anything posted by a host.

Content ownership

Hosts keep ownership of the cases they write. By publishing on the site you grant permission for that content to be stored and displayed to the players you invite. The 3DXMURDERS name, logo and the site itself remain the operator's.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of the page shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
